Our Mission and Vision
Animal Welfare Network NZ has spent the past eight years rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs across Otago, Canterbury, and Nelson/Tasman—working alongside pounds, rescues, fosters, and our wider community to give dogs a real way out when time is running out.
Mission
To provide sanctuary and second chances for dogs in crisis by connecting pounds, rescues, fosters, transport, and adopters through one supportive network—so every dog receives compassionate care, the treatment they need, and the best possible start in a forever home.
Vision
A kind, connected rescue community across New Zealand where help is coordinated, standards are high, and every dog has a clear pathway to safety, healing, and home.
